Supporting the life of prayer since 1996 with custom handmade rosaries, rosary kits, supplies, kneelers and prayer books.
The Rosary Shop began as a family devotional hobby in 1995 and was brought online in 1996 under the name Handmade Rosaries. What started as a small family ministry soon grew into a trusted source for handcrafted rosaries, rosary-making supplies, instructional resources, and devotional materials. Over the years, we have had the privilege of serving thousands of customers throughout the United States and around the world.
As our customers' needs grew, so did The Rosary Shop. We expanded our collection to include rosary-making kits, beads, crucifixes, centers, instructional guides, and educational resources to help others learn the beautiful tradition of making rosaries. Our goal has always been to make high-quality devotional items accessible while encouraging a deeper life of prayer.
After a brief pause from 2022 to 2025, The Rosary Shop was reopened by Grace Murray, daughter of founders Seth and Tyra Murray. Today, the business is being thoughtfully rebuilt by Grace, alongside Tyra, Seth, and a small team of family and friends. While we are in the early stages of this new chapter, our commitment remains the same: to create beautiful, lasting devotional items that help people grow closer to Christ.
Grace learned the art of rosary making from her mother, Tyra, and quickly developed a love for both the craftsmanship and the prayerful tradition behind every rosary. She now serves as the owner, manager, and rosary artisan of The Rosary Shop, leading its reopening and continued growth. Grace holds degrees in Business Management and Fine Arts and is pursuing a master's degree in art, combining her passion for craftsmanship, design, and entrepreneurship in every aspect of the business.
Tyra is the heart of The Rosary Shop and continues to serve as one of our rosary artisans. She began making rosaries in 1995 after she and her husband, Seth, entered the Catholic faith. She is deeply grateful to Teresa Greenway and her family, who first introduced her to the Rosary and taught her the art of making cord rosaries. Decades later, Tyra's dedication to quality craftsmanship continues to inspire everything we do.
Seth handled many of the day-to-day operations that keep The Rosary Shop running smoothly for about 20 years. He has spent countless hours building and maintaining the website and supporting the business behind the scenes. Seth is an ordained priest in the Old Catholic Church of North America, a home inspector, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Engineering, a Master's degree in Theological Studies, and graduate coursework in philosophy and physics.
We are deeply grateful for every customer who has supported The Rosary Shop over the years. Many of our best ideas have come from conversations with those we have been blessed to serve, and your prayers and encouragement have meant more to us than words can express. Whether you are purchasing your first rosary, creating one with your own hands, or sending a meaningful gift to someone you love, we are honored to be a small part of your faith journey.
Thanks be to God for His great gift, our Lord Jesus Christ. May we draw ever closer to Him in prayer and in our hearts, so that one day we may see Him face to face.
